Your December Reset

The holidays have a way of pulling us in a dozen different directions at once - celebrations, travel, school events, late nights, extra treats, and that feeling that the month is flying b
y. It's fun and festive... but it can also leave your body feeling a little off.
The good news?
You don't need a New Years resolution to feel better.
A reset doesn't have to be big or dramatic. In fact, the most effrective resets happen when you start small, stay consistent, and choose habits that support you rather than overwhelm you.
If you're craving a little more energy, clearer digestion, and a sense of control during this busy season, here are some simple ways to hit "reset" right now - without having to wait until January:
✨ 1. Do Something Every Day
Not a full workout. Not a full routine.
Just 10 minutes of movement—a walk, a quick Lifted workout, a stretch, something to remind your body you’re still taking care of it.
Consistency > intensity.
✨ 2. Add One Nourishing Thing Each Day
Instead of focusing on what to avoid, try adding:
A big glass of water
A protein-centered breakfast
A serving of greens
An afternoon walk instead of an afternoon slump
Those little “adds” go way further than restriction.
✨ 3. Protect Your Digestion
This time of year can feel hard on your gut, so keep it simple:
Prioritize water
Slow down while eating
Add fiber where you can
Sip ginger tea at night
Take a few breaths before meals
Your stomach will thank you.
✨ 4. Don’t Sleep on Your Sleep
The quickest way to feel off? Poor sleep.
Try a bedtime cut-off for screens, dim the lights, and get under the covers before you’re totally exhausted.
✨ 5. Anchor Your Day
Choose one habit you won’t negotiate:
A morning walk, a gratitude practice, 5-minute journaling, or your favorite Lifted workout.
Let it ground your whole day.
✨ One Last Reminder
A reset doesn’t require a fresh calendar page.
You don’t need January 1st to feel clear, strong, and in control again.
If you want to feel better before the New Year, start small today. Consistency over the next two weeks can completely shift your mood, your digestion, and your energy going into 2026.
Proud of you all.
And if you were part of the Kickstart—let’s finish strong this week!
xo,
Kristin
